WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University field hockey team (5-11, 1-4 BIG EAST) will visit Providence, Rhode Island. this weekend to face Providence (10-5, 3-2 BIG EAST) at 3 p.m on Friday, Oct. 25 at Lennon Family Field. Live stats and a live stream will be available at GUHoyas.com. 

About The Hoyas 

• Georgetown is looking to get back into the win column after last week's loss against No. 17 Liberty. 

• Junior forward Cami Osborne leads the Hoyas with 13 points, hitting her target  25 times on 32 shots. 

• Freshman forward Ellie Maransky is tied with senior forward Lindsay Getz with nine points to round out GU's top three.

• Senior forward Michaela Bruno has eight points off of four goals. 

• Sophomore goalkeeper Ciara Weets has 72 saves this season and ranks second in the BIG EAST conference. 

Scouting Providence

• The Friars are currently fourth in the BIG EAST conference standings. 

• Providence senior defender Allyson Parker was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

• Parker was also credited with the deciding goal in Providence's 3-2 win over Quinnipiac. 

• Senior forward Izzy Mendez leads the Friars with 20 points and she is fourth in the BIG EAST conference with nine goals. 

• Providence is outshooting opposing teams 226-141.
