WASHINGTON – Senior defender Meaghan Nally of the No. 14 Georgetown women's soccer team was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. She led a defensive effort that allowed just one shot on goal last week for GU's opponents.

The Hoyas outshot both DePaul and Seton Hall by a combined 27-4 margin, including 10-1 on target, and held an 11-4 advantage in corner kicks. Sunday against the Pirates, Nally and the Hoyas did not allow a single shot, earning their ninth shutout of the season.

This is Nally's fourth BIG EAST recognition this season. The Blue & Gray has been recognized by the league in eight out of nine weeks this season.

Georgetown will close out the regular season on Thursday, Oct. 31 at Shaw Field. The Hoyas will host St. John's in the final BIG EAST regular season matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN). Live stats will be available at GUHoyas.com.
