WASHINGTON – Three players from the Georgetown University women's soccer team were named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division I women's soccer All-ECAC Team, announced Thursday by the organization. The Hoyas receiving recognition are Amanda Carolan, Paula Germino-Watnick and Meaghan Nally.

Of the 11 players named to the list, Georgetown had the most players represented. This is the first time since 2014 that a Hoya was named to the All-ECAC Team.

Amanda Carolan

• The graduate student led the Blue & Gray this season with 29 points from a team-high 11 goals and seven assists.
• She started in all 21 games for GU as a forward.
• Carolan was a unanimous All-BIG EAST First Team selection and was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.
• She was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team this season.

 
Paula Germino-Watnick

• The senior ranked second on the squad with 26 points off of nine goals and eight assists.
• She was named a United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American earlier this month and earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team.
• Germino-Watnick was also selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Regional First Team this year.
• She was unanimously picked as the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year and earned a spot on the league's first team.
• Earlier this season, Germino-Watnick was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch list.

 
Meaghan Nally

• Nally led an experienced back line this season that stepped up and allowed just 7.1 shots per game from opponents and shut out 10 teams.
• The defender was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team for the second-straight year.
• She was selected as the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row and earned a spot on the conference's first team as well.
• The senior joined Germino-Watnick on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List earlier this year.
• Earlier this month, Nally was named to the Senior CLASS Award Second Team.

 
The Blue & Gray finished the 2019 season 13-5-3 and reached the NCAA Tournament for the eighth-straight year.
