WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's basketball team will have its second nationally televised game of the season, continuing BIG EAST Conference play this weekend hosting Seton Hall on Friday and St. John's on Sunday at McDonough Arena.  Tipoff against the Pirates is scheduled for 7 p.m., while the Hoyas will face the Red Storm on Sunday at 2 p.m.

About the Hoyas

• The Hoyas (4-16, 1-8 BIG EAST) are coming off of a 92-66 loss at No. 11/12 DePaul on Sunday.
• Three Hoyas led the way with 10 points apiece from graduate student Brianna Jones, senior Anita Kelava and graduate student Taylor Barnes.
• Kelava pulled in seven rebounds and Jones added six on the afternoon.
• Georgetown shot 38 percent from the field hitting 25-of-65 shots, while DePaul was 47 percent hitting 33-of-70 shots.
• The Blue & Gray was outrebounded by the Blue Demons 47-36 and forced 16 turnovers while committing 15.
• In the first game of the weekend, the Hoyas fell 73-51 at Marquette.
• Barnes leads the team with 12.2 ppg as the lone Hoya averaging in double figures.    
• Kelava has been tough on the glass averaging 7.5 rpg.

 
About the Pirates

• Seton Hall is 12-8 on the season and 5-4 in BIG EAST play.
• Last time out, Shadeen Samuels and Alexis Lewis posted double-doubles in an 82-66 loss at St. John's.
• Seton Hall has five players averaging in double figures as Desiree Elmore leads the way with 13.7 ppg and Samuels sits behind her at 13.4 ppg.  Samuels is also leading on the glass with 7.6 rpg followed by Selena Philoxy averaging 6.9 rpg.

 
Seton Hall Series

• The Hoyas are 29-38 against Seton Hall and 19-13 at home.
• Earlier this season, Georgetown lost in New Jersey 79-60.
• Barnes led the way in that game with a career-best 26 points, and Kelava managed nine boards to go along with four points.
• The last meeting in The District was 51-43 GU victory a season ago.

 
About the Red Storm

• The Johnnies are 13-7 overall and 6-3 in league play to be in a three-way tie for second with Butler and Marquette.
• St. John's is on a three-game win streak defeating Providence (64-58), Creighton (63-58) and Seton Hall (82-66) over the past two weekends.
• SJU has three players averaging in double figures as Qadashah Hoppie leads the way with 17.3 ppg.                             

 
St. John's Series

• The Hoyas are 29-36 all-time against the Red Storm and 18-13 at home.
• In the first meeting this year, the Blue & Gray fell at Carnesecca Arena by a score of 71-54.
• Three Hoyas scored in double figures as sophomore Nikola Kovacikova posted 15 points and Barnes added 13.
• Last year, Georgetown won a close one at home pulling out the 82-80 victory and snapping a 10-game losing streak.
