WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's basketball team will play Kansas in one of the championship round games of the Maui Invitational, hosted by Chaminade University, as brackets for the 28th edition of Basketball in Paradise were announced on Thursday afternoon.

The Hoyas will play the Jayhawks on Monday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. HST (midnight EST). Georgetown's game will be shown live on ESPN2.

The winner of that game will play the winner of a game between UCLA and host Chaminade on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 4:30 p.m. HST (9:30 p.m. EST). The loser of that game will play the loser of the Bruins/Silverswords game on Tuseday at 11:30 a.m. HST (4:30 p.m.)

The top half of the bracket matches Michigan against Memphis and Tennessee against Duke in the first round. The championship game will be contested on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 5 p.m. HST (10 p.m. EST) on ESPN.

As part of the expanded Maui Invitational format, Georgetown's tournament will first begin in Washington, D.C. on Monday, Nov. 14, as the Hoyas will square off against UNC-Greensboro at Verizon Center.
