WASHINGTON - Georgetown University Head Men's Basketball Coach John Thompson III will call in to the Mike & Mike in the Morning Show on ESPN Radio on Wednesday, March 14. Thompson will be on the show at 7:30 a.m. (ET).
The appearance on Mike & Mike is one of several radio appearances for Thompson as the Hoyas prepare for their NCAA Tournament game on Friday, March 16 against Belmont in Columbus, Ohio.
An interview with Thompson done by Yahoo! Sports Radio's Steve Czaban and Scott Linn will air on Sirius XM Satellite Radio Channel 94 at 8:30 a.m. (ET). The interview with Czaban and Linn will also air locally on The Sports Reporters, on ESPN 980 AM, on Wednesday afternoon.

Georgetown (23-8) is the No. 3 seed in the Midwest Regional and will play No. 14 seed Belmont University on Friday, March 16 in Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Tip-off is slated for approximately 3:10 p.m. (ET, or 30 minutes following the conclusion of the 12:40 p.m. game between San Diego State and North Carolina State.
This will be Georgetown's sixth NCAA Tournament appearance in eight years under Thompson. The Hoyas reached the Sweet Sixteen during the 2005-06 season as the No. 7 seed, advanced to the Final Four in 2007 as the No. 2 seed, reached the second round in 2008 as the No. 2 seed, were the No. 3 seed in 2010 and the No. 6 seed in 2011.
Georgetown is ranked No. 15 in the country by the Associated Press and No. 15 in the ESPN/USA Today Top 25 Coaches' poll.
Georgetown is led by senior guard Jason Clark (Arlington, Va./Bishop O'Connell), an All-BIG EAST First Team selection and the recipient of the BIG EAST Sportsmanship Award, who leads the team with 13.9 points per game. Senior center Henry Sims (Baltimore, Md./Mount St. Joseph), who recorded his third career double-double, and second-straight in the BIG EAST Tournament, with 22 points and a career-high 15 rebounds against Cincinnati on Thursday, is third on the team in scoring (11.7 ppg), second in rebounding (6.2 rpg) and leads the team with 3.5 assists per game.
