Change in USC Upstate Tournament Schedule

WASHINGTON - Due to a steady rain expected to fall in the Spartansburg, S.C. area on Friday, the schedule for this weekends Coke Zero Spartan Classic softball tournament, hosted by USC Upstate, has been rearranged.

The Hoyas were scheduled to play Presbyterian College on Friday, Feb. 22 however that game has been moved to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23. Georgetown's game against Kentucky has been pushed back to later in the day at 5 p.m. Sunday's game times have also been changed. Georgetown plays Howard University at 9 a.m. followed by a game versus USC Upstate at 11 a.m.

This is the third weekend tournament of the season for the Hoyas, combining for a record of 1-7 in the previous two. Georgetown will travel south for two more tournaments before playing their first home game at Guy Mason Field on March 13th against Drexel.
