WASHINGTON - Georgetown University senior women's soccer player Daphne Corboz (Green Brook, N.J./Watchung Hills) was named the BIG EAST Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, while her younger sister, freshman midfielder Rachel Corboz (Green Brook, N.J./Pingry) was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll.

The Hoyas closed out the regular season with an 8-0 win over Seton Hall on Friday night in New Jersey, finishing with an 11-3-4 overall record and a 6-1-2 mark in the BIG EAST.

The team's win on Friday ensured a runner-up finish in the BIG EAST and earned GU the No. 2 seed in this weekend's conference tournament, which will be held in Queens, N.Y. The Hoyas will play the winner of a match between No. 6 Villanova and No. 3 St. John's on Friday, Nov. 7 at Belson Stadium at 5 p.m. The semifinal match can be seen live on the BIG EAST Digital Network.

On Friday in the win at Seton Hall, the elder Corboz recorded her second hat trick of the season - and the third of her career - with three goals and an assist.
