Georgetown Softball's Tuesday Contest Postponed

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown softball game scheduled for 3 p.m. tomorrow, Tues., March 25 at Guy Mason Field in Washington, D.C. has been postponed due to impending cold weather and forecasted snow/rain.

A rescheduled date has not yet been determined.

The Hoyas were originally scheduled to host Towson on Tues., March 4, but that game was also postponed.

This is the third time that the Georgetown home-opener has either been postponed or cancelled due to weather conditions in Washington D.C. A Tues., March 18 affair between Georgetown and Colgate was cancelled due to snowfall.

The Blue & Gray’s first home contest is now scheduled as a three-game series against BIG EAST opponent St. John’s. Georgetown will play a doubleheader against St. John’s on Sat. April 5 followed by a single game on Sun., April 6. Play starts at noon on both days.
