WASHINGTON - Head Coach Pete Wilk has announced that the Georgetown baseball team has added a home game with Marist College on Tuesday, March 17. The game will be played at Shirley Povich Field with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Hoyas (1-6) have lost four home dates so far this season due to winter weather. Their three-game series with Fairfield last month was cancelled and last week's midweek matchup with the University of Maryland Baltimore County was postponed to a later date.
Before its game with Marist, GU will play seven games in Port Charlotte, Florida - against Illinois State, Northwestern, Western Michigan and Lehigh - at the Snowbird Baseball Classic. The Hoyas will first match up against Illinois State on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
