WASHINGTON - WASHINGTON - Spring has finally hit the Hilltop, and the Georgetown Athletics Department has announced its `Bike to the Game' promotion for the men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader on Saturday, April 25th at Multi-Sport Field. All fans who ride their bicycles to the game will receive a free ticket. The men's lacrosse team will host St. John's on Senior Day at 11:30 a.m., and the women's team will take on Temple starting at 3 p.m.
Each fan who arrives on their bike between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. will receive a ticket to the games. Georgetown's campus is set along many major bike paths, and is accessible via Canal Road and Reservoir Road. Bike racks and a special bike lot will be located on the east side of Multi-Sport Field. A marketing representative will be in the bike lot to distribute the tickets to fans as they arrive.
All fans that bike to the game should bring a bike lock, and follow DC bike safety procedures, including wearing bike helmets.
