WASHINGTON - The Georgetown softball team will play its final non-conference game of the 2015 season on Tuesday afternoon when it makes the short trip to George Washington's Mount Vernon campus for a single game versus the Colonials at 3 p.m.

The Hoyas traveled to Indianapolis, Ind., last weekend for a three-game set at Butler. Gabriela Elvina (Edison, N.J./Bishop George Ahr) recorded her first home run on Sunday morning during the final game of the series, but it wasn't enough as Butler completed the sweep with a 4-1 final.

Senior Megan Hyson (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeak) has paced the Hoyas in the circle with 142.2 innings of work and an ERA of 3.39. Hyson also has 145 strikeouts to her name.
The Colonials head into Tuesday's matchup with an overall record of 21-20 overall and a 4-11 mark in Atlantic-10 play. GW has won five of its last seven games at home, including a 5-0 victory over Coppin State on April 15.
George Washington is led by Carlee Gray who is hitting .354 while senior Victoria Valos has a team-high 36 RBI, .589 slugging percentage and .455 on-base percentage.
The teams last met April 22 of 2014 in what was a 5-4 victory for the Hoyas. GU holds the all-time advantage with five wins to GW's three.
First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. at the GW Softball Field.
