WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's golf team will take part in the East Carolina Intercollegiate, beginning on Monday, April 3 at the par-72, 6,708 Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament concludes on Tuesday, April 4.
Hosted by East Carolina University, the 11-team field also includes Coastal Carolina, Florida Gulf Coast, George Washington, High Point, Loyola (Md.), Maryland, Old Dominion, West Virginia and Western Kentucky.
The Hoyas opened their spring season last weekend, finishing in sixth place among 13 teams at the FAU Slomin Autism Championship in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Head Coach Tommy Hunter will field the same five-man lineup from last weekend, with juniors Cole Berman (Philadelphia, Pa./The Haverford School), Jack Musgrave (Chesterton, Ind./Andrean) and Sam Madsen (Madison, Wis./Edgewood/Cardinal Gibbons [Fla.]) alongside freshmen Eduardo Blochtein (Delray Beach, Fla./Spanish River) and Hardin Council (High Point, N.C./Westchester Country Day).
Blochtein was Georgetown's top finisher last week, finishing seventh in the field of 74 golfers at 3-over par 219.
