May 24, 2017 WASHINGTON - Georgetown University midfielder Peter Conley (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) was named a 2017 Division I USILA/Nike Honorable Mention All-American, as announced on Wednesday. Conley becomes the 71st All-American for the Hoyas in program history.
Named First Team All-BIG EAST during his redshirt junior campaign, Conley set career highs in all statistical categories. He tallied a career-high 27 goals to go with 18 assists for 45 points, as well as collecting 33 ground balls and causing eight turnovers.
Conley has compiled 77 goals, 43 assists and 120 points during his time in the Nation's Capital, ranking him tied for 13th all-time in career goals, as well as 16th in both career assists and career points.
Also tabbed First Team All-BIG EAST as a freshman in 2014, Conley was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in 2016 before injuries cut his season short.
Georgetown went 4-10 overall with a 1-4 mark in BIG EAST play. The Hoyas return 36 players for the 2018 campaign, including seven starters.
