WASHINGTON - Following two days of sailing in an 18-boat semifinal, the Georgetown University sailing team advanced to the finals of the 2017 ICSA Gill Coed National Championship on Wednesday night. The top nine teams from each of two semifinals advanced to the finals, held on the Charleston Harbor and the Cooper River in Charleston, S.C.
Georgetown finished seventh in the western semifinal with a combined 147 points, collecting 73 points in the A division (6th) and 74 points in the B division (5th).
