– The No. 24 Georgetown University men's soccer team will travel to Providence College for a Wednesday evening BIG EAST Conference matchup in Providence, Rhode Island. Georgetown is 8-3-3 on the season and tied for second with the Friars in league play boasting a mark of 4-1-1. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN).
On Monday, sophomore goalkeeper Ethan Koehler
(Maplewood, N.J. / Columbia) was named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week. Additionally, junior forward Achara
(Enugu, Nigeria / Berkshire School [Mass.]) earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Starting and appearing in just his second match of the season, Koehler made five saves in 90 minutes of work to keep Seton Hall off the board in the 4-0 shutout victory. The Pirates took 14 shots on the day with Koehler denying all attempts to lead the Hoyas to crucial victory which bumped them into second place in the BIG EAST standings.
scored a pair of goals in Saturday's shutout, breaking into the scoring column in the seventh minute for the game winner, then adding an insurance score in the 61st.

(Aurora, Ill. / Waubonsie Valley) is leading the team in scoring with 15 points on seven goals and one assist for the year. Achara
is second with six goals and one assist for 13 points. Senior captain Kyle Zajec
(Westport, Conn. / Staples) has three goals and is tied for a squad-best five assists for 11 points. Junior defender Dylan Nealis
(Massapequa, N.Y. / Massapequa) rounds out the top four with a goal and a team-high tying five assists for seven points on the year. Freshman goalkeeper Giannis Nikopolidis
(Athens, Greece / Nea Genia Zirdi) has played in 11 games and tallied 39 saves with a 0.76 GAA.
The Hoyas moved back into the national rankings this week to sit at No. 24. Georgetown has been ranked twice previously this season and as high as No. 13.
Providence (7-5-2, 4-1-1 BIG EAST) picked up a road point with a 0-0 double overtime draw at then-No. 8 Creighton on Saturday. PC was outshot 12-9, but each team recorded four shots on frame. Colin Miller made four saves in his sixth shutout of the season. Tiago Mendonca leads the Friars in points (8) and goals (4). Gil Santos is close behind with seven points on three goals and an assist. In net, Miller holds a 1.02 goals against average and a .722 save percentage.
The Hoyas are 15-13-3 all-time against the Friars and 8-5-1 in Providence. Last year at Shaw Field, the squads played to a double overtime scoreless tie. The last meeting in Rhode Island was a 1-0 Georgetown victory as Brett Campbell scored in the 54th minute to open 2016 BIG EAST play.
