WASHINGTON – Former Georgetown men's soccer players have been playing professionally this summer nationwide in both Major League Soccer (MLS) and the United Soccer League (USL).  GUHoyas.com is checking in on their progress as the current squad prepares for the 2018 season.
Alex Muyl
New York Red Bulls (MLS)
Muyl has appeared in 16 games with seven starts for the Red Bulls as he continues to carve out a spot in the starting XI.  He has two goals and two assists on the season including scoring the game winner against Minnesota.  The Red Bulls currently sit in second in the Eastern Conference.
Keegan Rosenberry
Philadelphia Union (MLS)
Rosenberry has started all 19 games he has appeared in for the Union on the backline.  He has one goal and one assist to his credit this season scoring his lone goal in a 4-1 win over Real Salt Lake.    
JT Marcinkowski
San Jose Earthquakes (MLS)
Marcinkowski made his debut for the Quakes on July 22 when the team took on Manchester United and the goalkeeper got the starting nod.  When not suiting up with the Earthquakes, Marcinkowski has been appearing with Reno 1868 FC of the USL where he has started all 17 games he has played and has four clean sheets on the year.
Brandon Allen
Nashville Soccer Club (USL)
Allen has appeared in 18 games with 12 starts on the year. He has scored five goals this season as the club prepares to join MLS in 2020.
Joshua Yaro
Bethlehem Steel (USL)
Yaro has been training with the Bethlehem Steel of the USL and has appeared in three games with three starts this season.
Tomas Gomez and Austin Martz
Saint Louis FC (USL)
Gomez has started all 10 games that he has played in this season.  He has 18 saves and four shutouts on the year. Martz has appeared in five games with four starts to his credit this season.
Cole Seiler and Josh Turnley
Sacramento Republic FC (USL)
Seiler has appeared in 10 games with seven starts on the backline this season.  Additionally, Turnley has seen time on defense appearing in seven games with six starts.
Bakie Goodman
Pittsburgh Riverhounds (USL)
Goodman has appeared in two games with one start this season for the Riverhounds.  The Riverhounds are currently third in the Eastern Conference.
