- The Georgetown men's basketball team's 2018-19 BIG EAST Conference schedule is set, as the league announced the full slate of games today.
BIG EAST play will begin in the new year when Georgetown travels to Indianapolis to face Butler on Wednesday, January 2. Georgetown will host its first BIG EAST game against St. John's (Saturday, Jan. 5) at Capital One Arena. The game will be televised on CBS.
The Blue & Gray heads back out to play at Xavier (Wednesday, Jan. 9). The team returns home to host Providence (Saturday, Jan. 12) and Marquette (Tuesday, Jan. 15), followed by a bye weekend and then hosts Creighton on MLK Day (Monday, Jan. 21). The Blue & Gray hits the road again to play St John's at Madison Square Garden (Sunday, Jan. 27) and return home to finish out the month against Xavier (Thursday, Jan. 31).
February begins with a pair of trips to Villanova (Sunday, Feb. 3) and Providence (Wednesday, Feb. 6), then a home date with Butler (Saturday, Feb. 9). A trip to Seton Hall (Wednesday, Feb. 13) precedes another bye weekend. The Hoyas then host Villanova (Wednesday, Feb. 20), travel to Creighton (Saturday, Feb. 23) and conclude February with a home game against DePaul (Wednesday, Feb. 27).
Georgetown's final home game is against Seton Hall (Saturday, March 2) and they conclude the season with a pair of road games at DePaul (Wednesday, March 6) and Marquette (Saturday, March 9).
The BIG EAST Tournament (March 13-16) will once again take place at Madison Square Garden.
