Washington, D.C. - Senior Fleet Hower (Marion, Va./Marion) won the 5000m race on Friday night, as three Hoyas traveled to the New Balance NYU Fastrack Invitational at the NYC Armory. Hower crossed with an NCAA provisional time of 14:08.31.

Also in action for the Georgetown indoor track & field team was senior Jesse Patterson (Elkins Park, Pa./Cheltenham) in the long jump. Patterson was third with a distance of 22' 1/2" (6.72m). Sophomore Michael Billington (Harrisonburg, Va./Turner Ashby) was eighth overall and fourth among collegians in the 800m at 1:57.38.

Select Hoyas will take part in the Mason Last Chance on Sunday, hosted by George Mason University.
