The Georgetown University Athletics Communications office serves as the intermediary between GU's 30 programs and local, regional, national and international media outlets. The staff works closely with the coaches, student-athletes and University to enhance the publicity and showcase the accomplishments of the Hoya student-athletes in competition, in the classroom and in the community.
In addition to coordinating news conferences and interviews, the Georgetown Athletics Communications office is also responsible for the athletics website GUHoyas.com, while providing statistical and historical information to members of the media. The staff also serves as game-day managers and liaisons for the BIG EAST Conference, the Patriot League and the NCAA.
