Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University rising sophomore Andrew Bumbalough (Brentwood, Tenn./Brentwood Academy) finished 10th in the 1500m this morning at the 2006 World Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Beijing, China.

Bumbalough improved upon his time in Tuesday's opening round heat, running 3:46.89. He qualified for the final placing ninth overall on Tuesday, crossing in 3:47.08.

Bumbalough and the rest of the Hoyas cross country team will begin competition in the fall on Saturday, September 9 at the Great Meadows Invitational in The Plains, Va.
