WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Georgetown University men's track & field team completed its final day of competition today at the IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass. The men tied for 14th a 50-team field. The Blue & Gray compiled two NCAA Provisional qualifying times today.
In the 800m finals, freshman Theon O'Connor (Kingston, Jamaica/Campion College) finished fourth with a time of 1:50.35, an NCAA Provisional qualifying time.
Sophomore Chris Kinney (Stockbridge, Ga./Stockbridge) and freshman Kamryn Austin (Ewing, N.J./Ewing) both advanced to the final round of the 55m hurdles after turning in 7.42 and 7.56 performances, respectively. In the finals, Kinney finished fourth with an NCAA Provisional qualifying time of 7.35 while Austin finished eighth (7.59).
Senior Alex Mason (Scottsdale, Ariz./Brophy Prep) finished second in the mile as he clocked in at 4:05.15.
The Hoyas end the indoor track & field season next weekend at the NCAA Championships in College Station, Texas.
