Georgetown Women's Track & Field Announces Incoming Class

June 3, 2011

WASHINGTON - With just over one week left in the collegiate track & field season, Director of Track & Field and Cross County Pat Henner announces the women's incoming class. The class of eight boasts six state champions from seven states and range from sprints to distance events.

"Coach Chris Miltenberg's recruiting efforts should make his already impressive Hoya Distance squad even stronger," Henner said. "Several of his athletes will have an immediate impact on the BIG EAST and NCAA level. Coach Marlo Mincey did a great job as well, bringing in athletes who should score right away for the Hoyas in the BIG EAST. We are very excited to begin working with these new Hoyas in the fall."

The Hoyas will send six student-athletes in four events to Des Moines, Iowa, for the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships June 8-11 held at Drake University.
