WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team wrapped up play at the three-day Yale Invitational, finishing in 13th place with a 72-hole score of 71-over par 923. The Hoyas carded rounds of 312, 304 and 307 at the par-71, 6,099-yard Yale Golf Course.
HOYA LINEUP
- Freshman Lauren May and senior Ashley Fitzgibbons tied for high honors for the Hoyas with identical scores of 13-over par 226 to tie for 34th place overall.
- Senior Kate Evanko turned in a 238 to tie for 62nd.
- Freshmen Dana Choi and Esther Park were one shot apart, carding scores of 239 and 240.
- Freshman Elena Zheng, playing as an individual in her collegiate debut, finished with a 242 including a 72 on Saturday.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS
- Charlotte won the Yale Invitational with an 11-over par 863. Stirling, out of Scotland, placed second (+15, 867) followed by the host Bulldogs (+16, 868) to round out the top three.
- The Hoyas finish just behind Boston College (+63, 915) and ahead of Hartford (+80, 932)

The Blue & Gray will wrap up the fall portion of the schedule at the Blue Hen Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware, the weekend of Oct. 19-20.
