BOSTON – The Georgetown University swimming & diving team wrapped up competition at the Terrier Invitational, hosted by Boston University, on Sunday. On the final day of the three-day meet, the Hoyas broke a pair of records as the men's squad finished second and the women's team placed third. The six-team meet took place at BU's Competition Pool.
The men's team finished with 976.5 points, behind only Boston College (1,192). The Hoyas placed ahead of both UMass (723.5) and the host Terriers (709). The GU women accumulated 708.5 points to finish behind both BC (997) and Northeastern (759), while topping BU (634.5), UMass (461) and New Hampshire (289).

COMING UP NEXT
Following this weekend's meet, the Hoyas will send several swimmers to the U.S. Winter Nationals, held at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta. The four-day meet, Dec. 4-7, will serve as an opportunity to qualify for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials.
