WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University field hockey team collected win number three on the road led by junior Kylee Cunningham's late goal in the second quarter and sophomore Ciara Weets' six saves. The Hoyas improved to 3-2 on the year and picked up their first ever win against the Broncs.

"Great team win today," said Head Coach Christy Longacre". We moved the ball really well going forward. It wasn't always pretty, but we found a way to make it work."

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Cunningham capitalized on a pass from Cami Osborne late in the second quarter off a Ali Cronin penalty corner to give GU the lead.
• Rider attempted 10 shots but GU's defense held up to pick up the shutout 

OF NOTE

• Rider took eight penalty corners to the Hoyas' four.
• Weets now has 32 saves through five games.  
• Osborne picked up point number three on the year.
