WASHINGTON – The Georgetown women's golf team wrapped up play at the 2019 Nittany Lion Invitational on Sunday, turning in a 72-hole score of 74-over par 938 to finish in 10th place. The Hoyas carded a team score of 302 in Saturday's first round before recording consecutive rounds of 318. The tournament was played at the par 72, 6,322-yard Penn State Blue Course.
HOYAS LINEUP
- Freshman Esther Park played as an individual this weekend and was GU's top scorer with a 13-over par 229, tying for 28th place. She had four birdies in the first round on Saturday and finished with seven overall over three rounds.
- Freshman Lauren May finished tied for 34th with a 15-over par 231. She turned in a career-best 2-under par 70 in the first round.
- Seniors Kate Evanko and Ashley Fitzgibbons were one stroke apart at 237 and 238, respectively over the three rounds.
- Junior Elizabeth Nguyen tied for 56th overall with a 239 while freshman Dana Choi was three strokes back at 242.
- Sophomore Baili Park, who was also playing as an individual, carded a 243 for the tournament.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS
- The University of Pennsylvania won the 2019 Nittany Lion Invitational with a 4-over par 868. Penn State (876) and Seton Hall (878) rounded out the top three.
- The Hoyas finished one stroke ahead of Youngstown State (939) as well as in front of Ohio (956).

The Blue & Gray will return to action next weekend of Sept. 28-29 when the squad travels to New Jersey for the Princeton Invitational.
