WASHINGTON – The Georgetown field hockey team fell 6-0 to Drexel on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Hoyas fall to a record of 3-16 while the Dragons move to 11-7 for the season.
How it Happened
- Drexel got off to a fast start finding the back of the cage 64 seconds into the game.
- The Dragons added two more in the first to take a 3-0 lead into the second quarter.
- The second quarter was scoreless as Drexel held the advantage going into the break.
- Georgetown began to create more chances in the third but Drexel fended them off and were able to add another to make the score 4-0.
- The Dragons added two more in the fourth to close out the game.

- Ciara Weets made nine saves in the match for the Hoyas.
