Hoyas Add Kristina Moore to 2022-23 Roster

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's basketball team has announced the addition of graduate transfer Kristina Moore to its 2022-23 roster. The Sydney, Australia native played four years at the University of Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in sports management.

With us losing Mimi (Bolden-Morris), Mary (Clougherty) and Jill (Archer), I felt the need to go after a high-level player.   • Played four seasons at Florida, appearing in 99 games and starting in 75, including every game she appeared in during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 campaigns.
  • Averaged 5.1 ppg and 2.9 rpg in her four-year career with the Gators.
  • Tallied a career-high 15 points going 3-for-3 from beyond the arc at Auburn as a senior.
  • Had her freshman season cut short because of an injury.
  • Competed at the Australian Under 20 and Under 18 Basketball Championships and was part of the 2017 NSW U20's that won the silver medal.
  • Also a member of the Florida track & field team throwing the discus for the Gators.
  • Ranked as high as No. 7 in the IAAF World U18 discus rankings and won a gold medal at the 2015 Youth Commonwealth Games.
