TOWSON, Md. – Georgetown University's field hockey's late onslaught came up just short in a 3-2 loss to visiting Saint Francis (Pa.) at the Towson Field Hockey Complex Sunday afternoon. The Hoyas fall to 1-10 on the season while the Red Flash improve to 6-5 overall.

How it Happened
- Saint Francis got on the board first, scoring just 80 seconds into the contest.
- The Hoyas evened things up with just 12 seconds remaining in the opening half as Towne fired home a shot courtesy of a nice feed in front of the keeper by Trumpbour.
- The Red Flash retook the lead with just 1:20 to go in the third quarter off of a penalty corner and pushed their advantage to 3-1 with just over five minutes to play in the game.
- Not willing to concede, the Hoyas battled back and pulled within one after Trumpbour stole the ball near midfield and scored on a give-and-go from Towne with 54 seconds to go.
- In the final minute, Georgetown had a pair of attempts thwarted by the Red Flash defense and couldn't find the equalizer.

- Dolores Zavaleta had a goal and an assist to lead the Red Flash.
- Julia Breneman and Olivia Muffitt both scored as well while Marie Sattler had two assists.
- Amber Bryan had four saves in the win.
