WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Georgetown University field hockey team lost 7-2 to Brown University at the Goldberger Family Field on Sunday afternoon in Providence, Rhode Island. The Hoyas fall to 1-15 on the season while Brown improves to 6-8 overall.

- The Hoyas were first to get on the board with a goal by Emma Van Der Veen late in the first quarter, it was her third of the season.
- Darby Campbell scored Georgetown's second goal, assisted by Sophie Towne and Elena Leahy.
- Ella Fahey made ten saves in the cage in the setback.

- Zoe Lawrence, Imogen Goven and Jodi Porto each tallied two goals for the Bears.
- Katie McCallum also scored for Brown.
