Head Coach Brian Wiese
- "It was tricky playing a late season out-of-conference game for both us and UNC Wilmington. Credit to them for a great first goal that put some pop into the game. I was really happy to see the guys not panic after their goal, and to then put together a good performance in what could end up being an important out-of-conference win for us."
How it Happened
- The Seahawks were first to get on the board in the tenth minute with a shot from outside the 18-yard box that rocketed past Hoya sophomore goalkeeper Tenzing Manske.

- The Hoyas took the lead in the 35th with a ball from junior Cole Parete bouncing past the goal line after slipping past the hands of the UNCW keeper. Parete was assisted by senior Marlon Tabora for his seventh assist of the season.
