UNCASVILLE, Conn. – The Georgetown University women's basketball team fell to the UConn Huskies 69-39 on Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Tournament presented by JEEP Brands at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. With the loss, the Blue & Gray ends the season with a record of 14-17 overall.
Head Coach James Howard
- "Tough night tonight out there, we definitely got the best of UConn. I think their defense off the bat really took us out of some of the things we wanted to do, work inside/out. And they shot the ball well and we didn't, so that was a big piece. Once you get down, they're going to continue to come. And it's one of those games you hope you learn from. We've got to take it and we'll go from there."
