WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's soccer team earned one BIG EAST Conference major award and seven total all-conference honors on Tuesday when the league announced its postseason awards.

Tate Lampman was named Freshman of the Year marking the first Hoya to win the award since Derek Dodson in 2017. Senior
Maximus Jennings, sophomore
Matthew Van Horn and junior
Zach Zengue were all named First Team All-BIG EAST. Senior

Marlon Tabora earned spots on the third team rounding out the Hoyas who were recognized.

The Hoyas downed Creighton in the BIG EAST quarterfinal on Saturday by a score of 1-0 to advance the Blue & Gray to the BIG EAST- Championship semifinal game on Thursday, November 14 at the Maryland SoccerPlex against top-seeded Akron.

Tate Lampman
Freshman of the Year, Third Team All-BIG EAST
- Lampman has started all 18 games he has appeared in and has one goal for two points on the season.
- On defense, Lampman is part of a backline that has posted 11 shutouts for a .611 shutout percentage which ranks the squad second in the nation and first in the BIG EAST Conference.
- This is Lampman's first-career postseason honor.
Maximus Jennings
First Team All-BIG EAST
- Jennings has started all 18 games he has appeared in and has one goal for two points on the season.
- On defense, the team captain is part of a backline that has posted 11 shutouts for a .611 shutout percentage which ranks the squad second in the nation and first in the BIG EAST Conference.
- Jennings was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on both 9/3 and 10/14 and earned a nod to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on 10/7.
- This is his first-career postseason award on the Hilltop.
- He was a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
Matthew Van Horn
First Team All-BIG EAST
- Van Horn has started 13 of the 18 games he has played for the Blue & Gray.
- He leads the team in scoring with six goals and three assists for 15 points on the year.
- The North Pole, Alaska native has four game winners this year, and had a goal and an assist in GU's contest at Villanova.
- His four game winners ranks him 11th in the nation.
- Van Horn earned a nod to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on 9/23.
- This is his first-career postseason award on the Hilltop.
Zach Zengue
First Team All-BIG EAST
- Zengue has started 16 of the 18 games he has appeared in for the Blue & Gray.
- He ranks second on the team in scoring with three goals and a squad-high five assists for 11 points on the year.
- The junior boasts three multi-point games including two goals against Cornell, a goal and an assist in the win over Providence, and an impressive three assists in the victory over DePaul.
- Zengue was named the Offensive Player of the Week on 10/7 and earned nods to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on 9/9 and 10/28.
- This is his second-career honor on the Hilltop after earning a spot on the third team a season ago.
- He was a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
Joe Buck
Third Team All-BIG EAST
- Buck has started all 17 games he has appeared in for the Blue & Gray.
- He has three assists on the season for three points to his credit.
- This is his first-career postseason award on the Hilltop.
Tenzing Manske
Third Team All-BIG EAST
- Manske has started all 14 games he has played in for the Blue & Gray this season with a record of 8-4-2 overall.
- He has combined for 11 shutouts, including eight solo clean sheets, and has 32 saves on the year.
- The Santa Fe, New Mexico native has an impressive 0.58 goals-against average and a .800 save percentage this season.
- His impressive GAA ranks him second in the nation and leads the BIG EAST Conference, while his shutouts rank him fifth nationally.
- Manske was named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week on 9/23 and earned a nod to the Honor Roll on 10/14.
- This is his first-career postseason award on the Hilltop.
Marlon Tabora
Third Team All-BIG EAST
- Tabora has appeared in 17 games this season with eight starts to his credit.
- He is ranked fifth on the team in scoring with two goals and one assist for five points on the year as well as one game winner.
- Tabora was a Preseason All-BIG EAST honoree.
- This is Tabora's third-career postseason award after being named First Team All-BIG EAST and Co-Midfielder of the Year as a senior as well as Second Team All-BIG EAST during his junior year.
