Hoyas Down Marist 31-10

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown football team advances to 2-0 on the season with a 31-10 road win over the Marist Red Foxes Saturday afternoon.

ON THE RECORD
"I give Marist a lot of credit they gave us a lot in the first quarter. For our first road trip, I'm really proud of how the kids came out at halftime and made some adjustments. It was great to see our special teams spark us in the second half. A big kickoff and punt return put us in a great position. We finally started to look like ourselves in the second half and I'm really proud with how we finished the game. It's great to be 2-0 and we're looking forward to getting back home to prepare for another great football team in Sacred Heart." - Head Coach Rob Sgarlata on today's contest.
