WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team swept its final weekend of action to win its second College Squash Association Kurtz Cup Championship in as many years. The No. 15 Hoyas defeated No. 18 Dickinson, No. 14 Williams and No. 13 Amherst to claim the title in Philadelphia at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center.
Opening the tournament against Dickinson, the Hoyas defeated the Red Devils for the third time this season. Winning 7-2, the Blue & Gray swept spots 3-9 in the ladder.

Aalia Husain each won 3-0 while
Lindsay Lee won in four games.
In a battle against Williams, the Hoyas flipped the script and dominated the top of the ladder en route to a 5-4 victory.
Rachel Mashek,
Cici Curran and Syed each won the top three spots while
Ella Schoonmaker won in the fifth flight and
Katie Hennessy won at the eight spot.
In the championship match, Georgetown avenged an earlier season loss to defeat Amherst 7-2 for its second consecutive Kurtz Cup Championship. The Hoyas won flights 1-7 in the win as Curran and Quijano swept their opponents. Mashek, Syed and Lee each won in four games while Schoomaker and Kuthari both went the distance to win in five.
