WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's soccer earned two BIG EAST Conference weekly honors on Monday when the league announced its weekly award winners.
Terrance Reynolds was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week, while
Matthew Van Horn received a nod to the weekly honor roll as the Hoyas went 1-0 last week.

BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
- Reynolds recorded his first collegiate goal and added an assist for three points in Georgetown's 6-1 victory over Providence.
- The freshman was one of eight Hoyas to record a point as Georgetown erupted for six goals and 20 total points in the conference win.
- He currently has one goal and four assists on the year for six points on the season.
- This is the first weekly award of his career and the first freshman honor for the Hoyas this season.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
- Van Horn scored twice in Georgetown's 6-1 victory over Providence, finishing with four points as the Hoyas remained unbeaten in BIG EAST play.
- His two goals tied for the most by a BIG EAST player during the week.
- Van Horn leads the squad in scoring with six goals and a team-high five assists for 17 points over the first 11 contests of the year.
- He also has two game winners on the year.
- This is his second nod to the honor roll this season and the third of his career.
- It's the ninth of the season for the Blue & Gray.
