WASHINGTON – Twenty-three Georgetown University field hockey players earned a spot on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Squad, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
 
More than 1,100 players from 82 teams were recognized. To earn the accolade, student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester of the current academic year and nominated by their NFHCA member coaches are eligible.
