WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's tennis fell to the Towson University Tigers and the Navy Midshipmen over the weekend at the Tose Family Tennis Center in Annapolis, Maryland. The Hoyas (2-4) fell 4-2 in their Friday night match against the Tigers before losing to the Midshipmen 6-1 on Saturday morning. Georgetown secured the doubles point against Towson, with winning performances from the pairs of Katie Garofolo-Ro and Emily Novikov, and Ruhika Bhat and Julia Chu. Bhat managed to go undefeated against Towson, winning her singles match over Aubrey Carper in straight sets 7-5, 6-1. Chu scored the Hoyas' sole point against the Midshipmen, defeating Navy's Olivia Fermo with a score of 6-4, 6-3.
