WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's tennis programs are set to return to action on Friday and Saturday for their second triple-match weekend of the spring season. The women's team will kick off the competition on Friday with a match against VCU in Richmond, Virginia, at 11 a.m. Afterwards, both the men's and women's teams will travel to Wilmington, Delaware to compete against the University of Delaware on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

About Georgetown Women's Tennis

• The Hoyas (2-4, 1-1 BE) dropped both their matches in Annapolis, Maryland over the weekend against Towson and Navy. Georgetown fell 4-2 to Towson Friday night and 6-1 to Navy Saturday morning.
• Rhuika Bhat went undefeated in singles and doubles against Towson, while Julia Chu went undefeated in GU's match against Navy.
• Chu picked up her first two doubles wins of the season, playing alongside Bhat and Emily Novikov over the weekend.
• The freshman duo of Bhat and Chu both boast 4-2 singles records this season.

• Georgetown sits at 1-6 on the season after falling 4-2 to NJIT on Saturday and 7-0 to Princeton on Sunday.
• Men's tennis faced off against Delaware in the fall, going 3-5 in singles matches and splitting their doubles matches at the Blue Hen Invite on September 28.
• The duos of Joshua Lamm-Bocharov and James O'Sullivan, and Jacob Mann and Hank Williams picked up doubles wins for the Hoyas in their fall matchup.
• Arthur O'Sullivan, Lamm-Bocharov and Mann each recorded singles victories at the Blue Hen Invite.
