WASHINGTON - Georgetown men's tennis (2-11, 1-1 BE) grabbed its first BIG EAST win of the spring with a 6-1 victory over the Butler University Bulldogs on Friday at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland.

Georgetown earned the doubles point early with
Joshua Lamm-Bocharov and
James O'Sullivan opening up play with a tight 7-6 victory over Riccardo Baldi and Arnesh Singh.
Hank Williams and
Burke Pablo would then capture the point for GU by picking up a 7-5 win against Siddhartha Lama and Nicholas Balthazor.

Arthur O'Sullivan opened singles action with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Riccardo Baldi for his second No. 1 singles win of the season, while
Joshua Lamm-Bocharov defeated Ronin Kasday in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, to give the Hoyas a 3-0 lead. J. O'Sullivan sealed the victory for the Hoyas in a thrilling three-set No. 2 singles match against Butler's Nicolas Arts, winning 7-6(6), 2-6, 6-2.

Sahil Morey followed up with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win over Siddhartha Lama, and freshman
Jonah Hill closed out the day for Hoyas by securing his first singles win of the season, defeating Nicholas Shirley 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (2).
