Men's Tennis Hosts Marquette Before Both Teams Travel to Richmond on Saturday

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's tennis programs are set for matches against Marquette University and the University of Richmond this weekend. Men's Tennis will host Marquette on Friday at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland. They will then travel with women's tennis to Richmond, Virginia on Saturday to face the Spiders.

  • Georgetown (2-11,1-1 BE) is coming off a dominant 6-1 victory over Butler University last Friday for its first BIG EAST win of the season.
  • The pairings of Joshua Lamm-Bocharov/James O'Sullivan and Hank Williams/Burke Pablo secured the doubles point while the Hoyas went 5-1 in singles in the win against the Bulldogs.
  • Lamm-Bocharov leads the Hoyas in singles wins with five.
  • J. O'Sullivan/Lamm-Bocharov continue to lead the Hoyas in doubles wins with four.

  • In their last outing, the Hoyas (3-6, 1-1 BE) defeated George Washington University 6-1 on March 4.
  • Georgetown went 5-1 in singles and picked up the doubles point, going 2-1 in the victory over the Revolutionaries.
  • Chu leads GU with a 6-3 mark in singles action, followed by Ruhika Bhat with a 5-3 overall singles record. Both remain undefeated in conference play at 2-0.
