WASHINGTON – The Georgetown softball team (5-5) fell 3-1 to George Mason (6-9) in Fairfax, Virginia on Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After four scoreless innings, George Mason got on the board with two runs.
- The Patriots extended their lead to 3-0 after scoring one run in the 6th inning.
- The Hoyas got on the board with one run in the seventh inning, but the Patriots held on to the lead to secure a 3-1 victory.
