WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's tennis programs closed out the 2026 spring regular season on a high note, sweeping all four matches across Friday and Saturday. The men's and women's teams combined for a perfect 4-0 weekend, with the Hoyas defeating Mount St. Mary's and George Mason on the road before returning home to sweep a BIG EAST doubleheader against Villanova.
 
The men's squad (7-14, 3-3 BE) opened Friday with a commanding 6-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Maryland, then carried that momentum into Saturday's 6-1 win over Villanova at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland. The women's team (8-8, 4-2 BE) handled George Mason 4-0 in Fairfax, Virginia on Friday, then edged Villanova in a tightly contested 4-3 thriller on Saturday to close the regular season on a four-match winning streak.
