WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's men's tennis team advanced to the BIG EAST Semifinals after defeating the Butler University Bulldogs, 4-1, in the quarterfinals at the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center in Cayce, South Carolina on Friday.
 
The Hoyas strung together four straight singles victories to secure the win after dropping the doubles point to the Bulldogs. Joshua Lamm-Bocharov opened singles action with a straight-set, 6-1, 6-1, win over Butler's Nicolas Arts in No. 3 singles to even the score. Arthur O'Sullivan and Cyrus Zia followed suit with their own straight set victories against Riccardo Baldi in No. 1 and No. 6 singles.
 
GU's Jacob Mann clinched the win for the Blue & Gray on court five in a tight, 7(8)-6(6), 7-5, win over Siddhartha Lama.
