In the competition for a starting role on the defensive line...can swing between the end or tackle position...a very athletic player who never quits...can make an impact this season after a good spring.

2003
Saw time in 11 of 12 games and totaled nine tackles...made a career high three tackles including one for a loss at Holy Cross...registered stops in seven games and had a fumble recovery in win over Stony Brook.

2002
Early season injuries lingered through out inaugural campaign on the Hilltop...played in three contests and totaled two tackles.

2001
Was a redshirt freshman for the University of Illinois varsity football team...played both linebacker and defensive end for the Illini.

A three year starter for Elk Grove and two time team captain...First team Chicago Tribune and Champaign Gazette All-State selection in 2000...a 2000 All-Area selection by the Daily Herald and the Pioneer Press...Football league[apos]s Defensive Player of the Year as a senior...chosen All-State by Rivals.com and All-Region by SuperPrep...made 101 tackles as a senior and had eight sacks...rotated between four positions for Elk Grove, fullback, tight end, defensive end and middle linebacker.
