Prior to Georgetown: Was a four-year member of the swimming & diving team at Thomas Jefferson High School, serving as a team captain as a senior ... Was a two-time conference champion in the 100-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke, as well as the 2016 100-yard breaststroke regional champion ... Named first team all-conference as both a junior and senior, first team all-region as a junior and second team as a senior as well as first team all-state as a senior ... Helped Thomas Jefferson win the 2014-15 Virginia High School League (VHSL) 5A State Championship and finish second at the 2013-14 VHSL 6A State Championship ... Thomas Jefferson was also four time VHSL 5A Capitol Conference 13 Champions and VHSL 5A North Region Champions ... Also swam for the Nation's Capital Swim Club, earning two-time Scholastic All-American honors ... In the classroom, was a member of the National Honor Society.
