2015:Appeared in 36 games, starting 23 for the Hoyas as a freshman... had an ERA of .208 with 20 hits and one RBI in 48 at bats... posted a slugging percentage of .229 and an on base percentage of .220... went 2-of-4 in stolen bases... had a two game hitting streak from Feb. 13-14.

Prior to Georgetown:  A four year letterwinner at Rosary High School in Fullerton, Calif...served as captain during her senior year...Triple Crown Sports All-Academic All-Star in 2013...First Team Trinity League, Second Team All-County, First Team All-CIF, Trinity League MVP, Team MVP and Rosary High School Athlete of the Year in 2014...high school team placed second in the Trinity League in 2014...career batting average of .434, has an on base percentage of .620...A high school Scholar Athlete who was also on the Principal's Honor Roll and the National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, Lawton possessed the highest GPA on the softball team...Has a younger brother, Ryan Lawton (16), and a younger sister Jordan Lawton (14), her cousin Julia Lawton plays volleyball at Colorado College (2011-2015)...her uncle Daniel Lawton was a 1987 graduate of the Georgetown Law School.
