Originally from Naperville, Ill., Mara Vandlik graduated from Georgetown University in 2007 with a major in government and English. She interned in the Hoyas Unlimited office throughout her time on the Hilltop and began working full time soon after graduation.
Vandlik is responsible for the planning of Georgetown Athletics and Hoyas Unlimited events, including the annual Athletic Recognition Dinner, the Hall of Fame dinner and the Georgetown Major.
In addition to planning events, Vandlik is responsible for managing the fundraising efforts for baseball, crew, swimming, and sailing.
In the Fall of 2008, she began her graduate studies in the Georgetown communication, culture, and technology program. She is on track to graduate next summer.
