POSITION: Men's Soccer Graduate Intern, Athletic Ticket Office

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Georgetown Athletics is seeking a graduate student to be the Ticket Operations Intern for the 2022-23 Men’s Soccer season. Graduate interns will report to the Ticket Manager. The ticket operations intern will work in all areas of ticketing and customer service for men's soccer. The graduate student will also be required to work ALL Men’s Soccer home games to include regular season and postseason. In-office responsibilities will include creating and launching the events in Archtics, prepping for each home game, being the main point of contact in the ticket office for men’s soccer staff, working with the marketing department on any promotional offers involving tickets, and post-game accounting. Gameday tasks will include setting up and tearing down the ticketing table, being the supervisor for student workers, helping to resolve any ticketing questions and concerns, and post-game reconciliations. Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the ticket office.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- applicants will be pursuing a graduate degree in sports management, business, or other related field
- a minimum of 1 year of experience working for a sports team is preferred
- previous customer service and ticketing experience preferred
- applicants should have strong leadership skills
- applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- applicants should have experience processing and handling of cash and/or other payment methods.
- applicants should be able to work 10-20 hours per week
